Our underwindings made of polypropylene, polyacrylics or aramid are a benefit for the
decatizing and they are wound directly on the perforated roller with three to five wrappings.

Main advantages:

• the decatizing wrapper is protected and its life is prolonged
• a better and more uniform distribution of steam
• maintenance is reduced, because the holes in the perforated
  roller are not clogged, thus do not have to be cleaned

Our customers have a choice between underwindings in 100% polyester or in 100% aramid. The underwindings can be either combed out at the ends and/or reinforced on one side to prevent pressure marks and to increase strength.

Hocks offers an extremely thin, uniform fleece with excellent strength to protect the shrink on sleeve against premature colouring caused by not fixated dyestuffs.

Main advantages:

• no colouring of the shrink on sleeve; even after longer use of the shrink on sleeve light-coloured material can be run through
• no pressure marks due to very low surface weight and uniform fibre distribution
• prolonged life of the shrink on sleeve
